R. J. Electronics offers variable speed pan and tilts and rotators suitable for demanding underwater and in-air applications. Components are designed for high radiation tolerance and long term reliability. Units are available with feedback for remote limit stops set in the control unit and an optional on-screen display.

Pan and Tilts

The pan and tilts include the stainless steel PTE-100, the anodized aluminum PTE-150, and the anodized aluminum PTE-200. All are equipped with low voltage, variable speed motors allowing the scanning speed to be adjusted to match the camera system and task being performed. The PTE-100 and the PTE-200 are designed for underwater applications with an operator depth of 200 feet. The PTE-150 is designed for in-air applications. The PTE-200 is designed for long term, heavy load operations requiring high speed or low speed scanning during detailed high magnification inspections.

Rotators

The R-100 and R-200 single axis rotators are compact, high torque units ideally suited for demanding underwater or in-air applications. Both are rated for a depth of 200 feet and are manufactured from 300 series stainless steel. Both are equipped with low voltage, variable speed motors allowing the scanning speed to be adjusted to match the task being performed. The R-200 is equipped with a high resolution encoder to provide angular reference information which can be recorded together with the TV image. The R-100's scanning speed range is approximately 0.3 RPM to 4.0 RPM. The R-200's scanning speed range is 0.1 to 1.2 RPM.
